Latest Update for KVS Holiday 2024-25: We have good news for all students of Kendriya Vidyalayas. As per latest updates of KVS official website, the summer vacation in Kendriya Vidyalaya of Regional Office Jabalpur, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Dehradun, Delhi, Gurugram, Guwahati, Jammu and Kashmir, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Silchar, Tinsukia and Varanasi will be stated from 12 May 2024 and end to 20 June (Only 40 Days). After summer vacation, the Kendryas Vidyalaya will reopen on 21 June 2024. All students can enjoy summer vacation for 40 Days.
All related Kendryas Vidyalays of the Regional Offices of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, and Ernakulam, Summer Vacation will be started on 2 May 2024 and end on 20 June 2024. The KVs of above mention Regional Offices will re-open after 50 days i.e., 21 June 2024.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) publish a Holidays List for Central Government offices every year in the month of June. This Holiday List 2022-23 is fix for Central Government Officers and employees. Holiday List 2022-23 for each State will be decided by the Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee (CGEWCC) each year.
