Sports Quota in KVS Admission: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) allows admission to students under the Sports Quota. Students who have demonstrated exceptional skills and achievements in sports can apply for KVS Admission under this quota. Candidates of sport quota would also be admitted over and above the class strength except where stated otherwise in the provision itself.
However, KVS Admission through the Sports Quota is subject to meeting the eligibility criteria and availability of seats in the respective Kendriya Vidyalaya.
To be eligible for admission under the Sports Quota in KVS, the candidate must have participated and achieved distinction in any of the recognized sports events at the national, state, or district level. The candidate must also provide evidence of their achievement and a certificate of participation from the concerned authority.
Candidates applying for KVS Admission under the Sports Quota must submit their application along with the necessary documents to the school they wish to apply to within the stipulated time frame. The school authorities will then verify the documents and determine the eligibility of the candidate for admission under the Sports Quota.
It is important to note that the admission under the Sports Quota is subject to the availability of seats in the school and is granted based on the merit of the candidate. Therefore, meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission under the Sports Quota in KVS.
